"FALLON"

Fallon is a complex 12-year-old who is the coolest girl in school. She's worked hard to be the coolest and picks on other kids, including Bastian, in order to preserve her hard-won status. The truth is, she comes from a low-income family but she hides that from the others. They think she is vacationing in Florida, when in fact she is hiding out in the poor section of town. Because she is so self-conscious and insecure, she puts others down in order to make herself feel better.

Thirteen-year-old Brittany Drisdelle plays Fallon in The Neverending Story for television. She has Fallon all figured out: "She is a girl bully who is seeking attention and trying to be on top. Fallon is very smart, but not in school subjects. She knows how to control others and how to get her way."

Brittany says that Fallon has a chip on her shoulders. Fallon's parents can't afford to buy her material thing such as gadgets and nice clothes.

"So she gets her pleasures in putting people down," says Brittany.

Bastian is the first one at school to discover Fallon's secret and tries to become her trusted friend - but not without plenty of problems.

The Neverending Story is Brittany's first television series but she acted in several other features and TV movies including Both Sides of the Law, Revenge of the Land, The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo and Lassie.

Brittany caught the acting bug at the age of nine when she performed in a school play. "I liked acting so much I wanted to do it all the time," she says.

When she's not in school and not on a film set, Brittany skis and skates in the winter and plays soccer and volleyball in the summer. She also takes ballet and Irish dance lessons, as well as piano and singing lessons. If she has any time left in her busy schedule, she hangs out with her friends.
